This sight tool is made out of harder steel to prevent the tool from bending or breaking while applying force.Once clamped onto your front sight, the compression from the screw pushes your front sight post either left or right to adjust for windage. To adjust for elevation, the non-threaded end of the screw is formed to fit over the post itself, and then turned to raise or lower the post.
