Starline 45-70 GOV Unprimed Cases 100's
The Starline 45-70 GOV Unprimed Cases (100 count) are premium brass cartridge cases designed for shooters and reloaders seeking consistency and strength for their 45-70 Government rifles. Manufactured by Starline, a trusted name in brass production, these cases are ideal for hunters, target shooters, and enthusiasts who require reliable performance for both smokeless and black powder applications.
Product Overview
Starline’s 45-70 GOV unprimed brass cases are engineered for durability and uniformity, supporting both standard and magnum-level hunting loads. Each case is constructed from high-quality brass and accepts large rifle primers, ensuring dependable ignition and longevity through multiple reload cycles. The cases are intentionally left slightly stiffer to withstand the elevated pressures of modern smokeless powder loads, while still allowing reloaders the flexibility to anneal the case mouth for optimal performance with lower-pressure black powder loads. This robust construction makes them suitable for a wide range of firearms chambered in 45-70 Government, from classic lever-actions to modern single-shot rifles.

Further Product Details
This pack includes 100 unprimed brass cases, ready for reloading with your preferred powder and projectile combinations. The cases are compatible with any firearm chambered in 45-70 Government and are suitable for both modern and traditional rifles. For reloaders using black powder, it is recommended to anneal the case mouths to ensure proper chamber sealing, as lower pressures may otherwise result in incomplete expansion. The robust construction of these cases allows for repeated reloading cycles, making them a cost-effective choice for high-volume shooters and hunters alike.
Starline’s manufacturing process ensures tight tolerances and consistent wall thickness, contributing to reliable performance and accuracy. As with all reloading components, users should follow safe reloading practices and consult reputable load data. In South Africa, reloading brass is subject to local firearms and ammunition regulations, so customers should confirm compliance before purchase. Starline backs their brass with a reputation for quality, though specific warranty terms may vary—consult the manufacturer for details. Proper cleaning and storage of brass cases will further extend their service life and maintain optimal performance.
